Rather like the look of this DB complex, but I can't figure out if the first move of the 4 is a deadlift or a squat. IMO it would make sense if it were a dead, since they do front squats later.
Any opinions?

What's this movement?

Technically it's a DB Deadlift, but with the db's at the side it's virtually the same action as a squat anyway.

Ooh this one of my favourites workouts! It's:
5 rounds of:
5 x DB Deadlift
5 x DB Clean
5 x DB Push Press
5 x DB Front Squat
Note that picking the dumb bells up off the floor is often counted as the first Deadlift. The aim of the game is to work up to the highest weight you can do over 5 rounds, each increasing the weight of the DBs from the previous round.

Well to be honest their form is a little poor. Certainly it looks likes a few of them are very half hearted split jerks, but certainly not all. Either way, I've done this workout several times at CF Manchester and we've always done Push Presses. To be honest, I don't really think it matters. As long as the DBs get over head, you can probably do what you like for the same benefit.

Think you're right. I had a go at this on Sunday, and it's an innocuous little fella. Due to equipment restraints we kept it as 5 rounds for time with the same weight. Since it's "only" five rounds you tend to start off like a rocket, which then catches up with you...
Maximise your training and minimise the bullshit.

5 rounds for time? OMG that must have been a sight. We've done that once when I was there, people (read me!) were falling about all over the place!
