Well Chet,
You met me at the cert in Manchester. Firefighter, Kettlebell Instructor and UK Champion, Judo player. Was working at the cert with a broken foot.

Ring any bells?

I affiliated mainly to take CF to the Emergency Services Community of the UK but also take CF to the underpriviledged kids and low income residents of Tyneside and the North East- give them exercise opportunities that they would otherwise not have access to. Hence- very basic set up: Any profits to be pushed back into purchasing equipment and improvement of facilities.

I have been a qualified Trainer and PTi for over 10years and have always maintained a number of personal training clients who I'm glad to say have been supportive and are beginning to embrace the Crossfit lifestyle!

Many thanks to all for your kind thoughts and best wishes.

Nice one Ben, will give you a phone tomorrow!
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

Thanks ever so much. I will do. I needed to pitch things at another angle to keep things fresh.

Kempie and Leon are doing a great job up here too with CFNEE (need to catch up with the lads but Kempie just had new baby and Leon in Iceland) so by doing this I'm not competing with them but offering different services to different people to show the other things that CF can offer in terms of confidence building and focus esp for disillusioned kids, school refusers etc

I've been quite humbled by the work of Steve Liberati -CF Steve's Club. Worth a read if you can locate the CFjournal article.

Ben! Alright dude, had no idea this was you. (I was that bald Irish wally with the arse hanging out out of his shorts at the cert)

How's the foot holding up?

Your affiliate sounds like it's gonna be fantastic, looking forward to seeing how it developes.

Reading up on Pavel's stuff but I'm unsure as to whether I can trust a man who can't afford a shirt.

Hi Im new too!

Crossfit is excellent, I work in the industry for the UK largest fitness show and we'd defiinately be keen to get crossfit integrated in our show more... Any ideas on this one? Know of anyone who would like to demo?

We already have the likes of Martin Rooney and IKFF coming to our show, but want to get cross involved.

Thanks,
M.

Welcome to the forum
It might help if we knew which show you're talking about? And what sort of demo's and audience is likely to be there.
"Pain is weakness leaving the body"
"If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready"
"The mind always gives out before the body. You’ll pass out before you die."
"We'll be as we are when all the fools around us fade away"
"Successful men and women are very careful in reaching decisions and very persistent and determined in action thereafter."
