Nice one. I might get an olly bar and two 10kg rubber bumpers to learn olly stuff properly. My 10kg bar and smaller plates throws everything out when starting from the floor.

make wooden discs so you get the bar the right height
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

Nice idea, but my jigsawing skills aren't up to much so I'd end up with wonky disks.

dude i didn't put it up as an advertisement. I set up a deal with york a while back for the crossfit affiliates. York very a bit funny with the whole thing but seems they are happy to use the crossfit brand to try and sell more discs. Yes the discs are good but are very expensive. If you just going to be practicing then the jordan ones hold up and are a fair bit cheaper. The don't bounce really but seem ok.

Oh, I know. Just seeing the olly plates reminded me to get a decent training bar.

Why are York funny with the Crossfit thing? Have they not just developed a Burgerener/Rippetoe Crossfit bar? or is that not the same York?

Regards

in the u.s. they have taken crossfit on and give good deals and customer service to crossfit affiliates and participants. Over here york wanted to work with us but everything had to come through me. This is fine and things were going ok but then a few things weren't delivered on time and I had some issues I wanted to speak with them about and they blanked me. Were very hard to get hold of.
