You guys do realise what's going to happen from day 50 onwards, right?

Yep, probably the same thing that happens when we get to 30 or 40; I curse Chet for his ridiculous ideas then get going anyway.

Of course now I have been wondering what we can do once this is done. I am thinking maybe a push-up/sit-up challenge starting on Jan 01 2009. Start at 1 PU and 100 Sit-ups on day 1 and end up on 100 PU/1 sit up on day 100. Thoughts? Of course I may be getting ahead of myself with that one :)

Alright,i'll start monday and run it alongside my korte training.
Not a bad idea though. You could probabaly run pressups like that too.Surely 100 pressups would be worth being able to do?Or even 100 bodyweight squats.

If you can do the 100 burpees you already did the 100 press-ups (and the squat if you do them strictly).

Cool mate.

So...the 'buy-in' on Monday to keep on the same days as the rest of us on the FK.UK version will be:

1+2+3+4+5+6 = 21 burpees ;)

I went to the gym this morning. Considered doing some burpees, but decided I hate them too much! did some rowing though. Does that help? I hate that too.

So that's me out. I'm not doing 100 of anything I don't like!

I don't find that surprising at all

Chet, after doing FUBAR2, don't think I will do this one, good luck.
"The idiots are self regarding consumer slaves oblivious to the paradox of their uniform individuality. They sculpt their hair to casual perfection, they wear their waistbands below their balls. They babble into hand-held twit machines about that cool e-mail of the woman being bummed by a wolf. Their cool friend made it. He's an idiot too. Welcome to the age of stupidity, hail the rise of the idiots!"

Charlie Brooker & Chris Morris.

"Don't get hung up on the stopwatch or times, or even weight lifted, think about technique, technique, technique and listening to your body. You will not perform better every session and that is set in stone. Test your self every month keep a written journal not just a forum, a place where you can keep personal notes that you can read to motivate yourself. Don't compare yourself to others when you are working out and likewise do not think that you are already fit as fcuk!!! As someone will always be in front and behind you, ultimate confidence in your abilities yes, but arrogance no, there is a fine line.
But most of all do the things you hate above the things you like or are good at, this will make you a better athlete. Save the things you like for recreational sessions. But ultimately enjoy it, even when you hate it! And finally remember the mind will always give in before the body!"

Here endeth the lesson.

Only 83 days left
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

up at 6 now Chet. This is gonna be hilarious! we should run it with 60kg thrusters when we're done with the burpees (joke).

Stop it, don't go giving him ideas! Actually, how about a 50% bodyweight thrusters challenge? Maybe just up to 50 eh?

ah ok. no more ideas. I was going to suggest full squat clean and thrusters but I won't now! or a 30 day burpee pullup followed by clean and thruster challenge. 50 days of 50% bodyweight thrusters sounds like fun though. We'll have to make sure everyone survives the burpees first!

Oh, now thrusters, I'd do them. I like them! Not sure about 50% bodyweight - that's bloody heavy for a fat cow like me, but hey, I can always scale a bit.

Forget pullups though. No way.
