Hi!
Basically i'm a long time reader, first time poster.
I play gaelic football and due to being located away from home for work, I cannot play as much as I used to. I want to take advantage of this free time though to fit in more weights sessions and conditioning to be in tip top shape for next season.
I'm interested in training for functional muscle mass and plan to start Rippetoe's SS on the 11th August. I also like the idea of SPARQ training (google it for an explanation) as well as the odd Ross or Crossfit workout.
I plan to start a log from next week on too so looking forward to being on the board and learning from you guys!
