Hi guys, just an FYI

Posted Image

If anyone is interested I can whip up a trapeze bar for £25 + shipping (between £4.20 and £7 depending on bar diameter and shipping options). They come with snap links and can be hung anywhere you could hang a pair of rings.

What started as a better than nothing option in our little box has pretty quickly turned into a preferred option. It does not seem to have made learning to kip difficult for our folks. If anything, it seems to have assisted!

At present I have been making these to order with a fixed drop (ie non adjustable) but if you would like an adjustable option I'm sure I can sort something out.

Drop me a line at kempie@hotmail.com if you are interested. At present I have enough materials for another 3 or 4 bars for immediate dispatch but can order more in very quickly.

Cheers, kempie

Mate love the look of those. Will look in to whether these are feasible at the venue I am using and come back to ya.

Are they any easier than a normal pull up bar? I ask because I haven't learn't to kip yet and I don't want to learn on an easy option only to have to relearn on a harder thing. But something like that would be easier to put up than a pull up bar for me so if its pretty much the same then I will def get one.

I like the look of those. I've got a powerbar but you can't really kip on those - not that I can kip yet...

I'll give it some thought, but I'm almost definitely interested in one.

Will, I don't think it is easier. My numbers on a similarly sized fixed bar are greater than the trapeze bar. The kip you learn on the swinging bar WILL transfer to a fixed bar. We just didn't expect that it would help the learning process.

ok cool, I would definatly like to order one then as I don't have a pull up bar and this sounds like it will be easier for me to keep as I can take it down when I need to.

Excellent, drop me a mail with your address and also how far you want it to drop below the anchoring points. Will be able to let you know on receipt what the postage costs will be.

How do they fix on? I haven't anywhere to hang one at home or at the gym (pah!) so I'm restricted to trees or swing frames at the park. Plus, I guess I need to be able to reach the top to fix them on? That could be a problem...

You could always muscle up onto the top of the swing!

Nicky, I have them set up with snap-links. I have eye bolts mounted in the ceiling that suit either rings or the bar. If you wanted to throw them over a swing set or tree then I would do the same with an extra loop to wrap over the support. If you give me an idea of the height you want to hang them and the height of the swing set/ tree branch then I will see what I can come up with.

Drop me an email or PM and I will get it sorted for you

Cheers, kempie
