Will,

If you can make it to the Weybridge gym a couple of times a week - why not have those couple of days as your oly/heavy barbell days? With the money that you save from your globo gym you could get a couple more bits of kit that dont take up much space etc - and can do workouts at home the rest of the week? Doesn't mean they need they all need to be BW metcons etc either - you could invest in a KB, some DBs etc...

Just a thought.

yeah - the gym Chet had in mind was the gym I used after leaving the muppets at LA Fitness to it.
i.e. DIY.

Yeah I didn't really know where weybridge was and its kind of a long way.

I got in contact with Keith Morgan a oly coach so provided I can afford it i will travel to his classes in crystal palace if I can fit it around study and work. I am also hoping to get to CF Surrey but I am not sure what is goin on with that as I have sent both of them emails and got no response.

As we are also talking about raising the profile of British coaches on another thread, how about this.

Don't think it is to far from you for once or twice a week??

It is Brian Hamills gym (BWLA) the coach who is doing the Oly lifting seminar for me this weekend.

You going there this Friday mate?

Wouldn't expect you to coach me or anything, but I can at least work on deadlift and squats at a safe weight as Steve has sorted that out over the past couple of sessions!

Sorry mate - doubtful we will be there this Friday, Stephen and I will be running around getting stuff in place for the Strength and Power Invitiational the day after.

However Brian is usually there, if not there will be at least one of the other coaches looking after all the lifters, all good folk.

No worries mate, if you're heading there next Friday I'd like to check it out!

I thought the place itself is in Rowtown, but Steve told me it's at Woking Leisure Centre, that must be Brian's own address above?
