You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

heh heh, girlies get to use 12kg... there have to be some advantages in being female eh.

Oh, that's right! It's all "ooh, we want to treated equally, the suffragist movement and all that". Until you get to pick up a lighter KB!

;)

Persactly! And I did it this afternoon and got 160, which just goes to prove that the effort level is not equivalent!

PT did this last week with a 24 and got 151. He said he was in major pain by the end. I wasn't like that, really. Gonna have some major bruises on the backs of my wrists though - form was terrible. They just didn't feel right today, even at the start.

Next time I WON'T do a 5k run first, and I'll see if I can get closer to 200. Or I could try it with a 16, which is probably more like the equivalent effort level. I'm not sure I could get more than about 50 with a 16 though. I need a 14!

Had a crack at this first thing this morning - got a painful, blisterful 160 with a 24kg KB.

I did it today (with a 24) and got a meagre 126. :( Still, at least it means there's plenty of room for improvement.

Thanks! I've done it before and got 140, although I was doing KBs a lot more back then, so that's why I am kind of disappointed.

I have a wee 12kg KB to practice with. I'm getting there with the snatch. I missed a bashed my forearms a few times which slows you down a bit...
