Cheers Miles - Checked out London KBs, but Newitts seemed to still work out better :)

Just bought a 12kg for training, and an 8kg for training folk ;)

[rant]

so it come to this - KB's are now a fecking fashion accesory

At least that means assholes that read Mens Health and Muscle and Fitness will now stop using them as something new will be in fashion in a couple of weeks and people like us that actually train with them can get back to sing them for proper training

[/rant]

You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

I was going to order one of the pink ones before that rant! Now I won't bother!

Fashions come and go, but 200lb is always 200lb!

Not sure if this brand has been mentioned, but I got a 16kg on Ebay last week, the Olympian brand. Can't find much about them by Googling, but it feels like a solid fella. I already have a Newitts 16, but the Olympian one is black and has a handle that's a good deal thicker, by maybe 1/2".
Apologies if this has been mentioned, but Argos are now doing them up to 16kg at various prices. It's the Gold's Gym brand - I have a 12, and it has a thicker handle than the Newitts 16 and feels like a decent KB.

the Newitts handles feel about right for me - I wouldn't want any thicker. But then I've got small hands.
