Hi all.

I'm from South London (near Wimbledon) and I was hoping that anyone know of a well equipped gym nearby. I am looking for Olympic Weights, platforms, squat racks etc as I'm training for Strength using Barbells.

I want a place where I can at least drop weights on the ground, use chalk and have some type of coaching available (people who know what they are talking about). From what I have researched, Bethnal Green Weightlifting Club will provide what I am looking for, but it is quite far from me.

I will be very grateful if you guys can place some suggestions here.

Thank you.

Have you looked in to Woking? easier to get to from where you are I think but obviously further out. Is there anything at Crystal Palace? - I seem to remember some sort of facility around there.

Woking Centre of Excellence. Brian Hamill is the guy you want to speak to.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Woking is too far for me to train 3 times a week.

Has anyone been to British Barbell?

What is the Gym that Gubernatrix goes to cos from what I have read she is in the same area as me.
