Guys,

Not sure why, but I have had a sudden hankering for a decent rowing machine. I figure it'll bring a bit of variety to my cardio.

I'm looking at the Concept 2, generally considered the Rolls Royce of rowers. But I'm sure I read some reviews sometime that raved about one of the "water" rowers (Concept 2 being air).

Of course, the Concept 2 ain't cheap, but I can afford it, but if there are decent alternatives that are cheaper then I'm interested.

Do any of you have any recommendations/suggestions?

I'm searching eBay too :)

Yeah, I read an article that recommended the water rower; it was probably the same one. Expect it was MH/MF or something like that.

The Concept 2 came second though. I would def buy one of those, because of the computer thing, and because it's the standard machine. I imagine the water rower would be great if you were actually a real rower (as in, in a boat) though.

I'm leaning toward the Concept 2. They seem to be very robust and every article I've ever read always have good things to say about them.

never tried the water rowers but I would recommend a C2 simply because they are solid, reliable and great use. I have 2 C2 old models rowers but have used some of the newer ones and think they are the bees knees.
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

Yep, looks like the Concept 2 for me.

Just need to shop around for the best deal.
