Afternoon all, thought I'd say hello. I'm a regular on Warriortraining - so hello to all that lot, and Chet and Davie who've recently been conducting special ops style grabs with WT members ;

Chet - I'm keeping a tally of how many of my members you are stealing ;)

(from Mister C's intro...hehe)

so, I'm Sam, 23, been training for 5-6 years, starting off clueless in the gym, then discovering martial arts and the ways of Ross Enamait roughly 4 1/2 years ago. Recently I've taken a liking to Crossfit and am following that at the mo, alongside (almost too) regular 5 a side football and also Aikido.

My MA history is mostly kickboxing, with a fair bit of boxing and thai boxing in there. Since graduating and moving away from Leeds last year I've been training exclusively in Aikido, apart from the odd kicking session in my gym (in my loft :D) to stop me worrying that I'm going to lose my ability to kick people....

I keep a log at WT, and may start a replica up on here, but at the moment I'm just over here cos i'm bored :D

so, hi!

afternoon mate
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...

hey guys, cheers for the welcomes.

I'm based in Preston :)

Chet - I do struggle to fit everything in. Footy I can't really abandon the boys, and luckily my Aikido club train 6 days a week so I don't have to make any commitments at all to specific days. I'm actually doing a lot better since I've started doing the CF WODs, as they tend to be a bit shorter than the workouts I was doing before.

On an average week, I'll play football twice, go to Aikido 2 or 3 times, and work out on 5 or 6 days. I'm also lucky in that Aikido isn't a particularly physical art, so I don't have to take it into account when planning workouts. Thai boxing was a killer for that...trying to do a leg workout the day after a hard session there was practically suicide, especially if there were any stairs involved....
