Been following the FK.UK stuff for a few months and figured it's time I started joining in on the forums.

A bit about me:
Started training in ITF style Taekwondo 10 years ago. Got into weights about 5 years ago and as with most young lads, wanted to get bigger. So tried bodybuilding and got bored of the workouts, realising I prefer to strength train. So mainly trained for strength for a bit. Then added some Olympic stuff to help explosiveness for TKD. Did a bit of tricking as well. Joined the functional group about a year ago after reading Brook Kubiks Dinosaur Training and made my own set of sandbags, then got some kettlebells from Wolverson from Gubernatrix. Still training in TKD and still competing as well.

Basically I like training and shifting heavy loads around.

I also post over at the myprotein forums. May have bumped into a few guys and gals from here over there.

scheduled in the CIMAC World Cup in July in Maidenhead and the WOrld Kickboxing Council (WKC) World Championships this October in Portugal.

July comp is looking unlikely as it's end of May and may not be ready in time. It's a open comp so anyone can turn up, pay and compete. The WKC one is both opena nd closed. Open cos the competitions they run are open to anyone from any style and any association/ organisation at National level. For the World's, it's closed as it's only those that qualified for the national team can go. Mainly gearing up for Portugal.
