I am as sceptical as anyone regarding anything that promises results without me having to hurt and sweat to achieve them. Thats why I very rarely use the powerplate. I have this week however began experimenting with using it to try and improve my deadlift starting position. I do find getting down into the deadlift, especially with a snatch grip a real challenge. I struggle to maintain lordosis. I have been trying to use the power plate in an isometric deadlift using the straps to pull me into position. I had a friend film me from the side and after a couple of attempts I am getting my backside down and chest up more.
Anyone else used them for flexibility with results good or bad?

Tried one a few times. Nearly knocked my fillings out. I've a feeling it throws you off balance very slightly and your muscles contract to try and correct this. Noticed this one day I had dodgy quad DOMS and I could feel everything contracting and relaxing which was a bit odd. I reckon it could help with flexibility due to a PNF-type effect so you're firing and relaxing muscles as they're being stretched. (warning: I may be talking out my ass here). I'll try to see if it can help with my hip flexors. Interesting find dude!

I think that they have their place. I have seen fat men and women lying face down on them though because someone has told them the vibrations will tone their bellys. Superb!!
Seriously, for stretches i think it may help me. Not keen on the feeling as my contact lenses seem to jig around but i will give it a few weeks and see if it helps
