I have just got a bike with the intent to start cycling to work but I would also be interested in some good on/off road bike rides.

I'm in Surrey, anybody got any route suggestions or places they recommend going to?

cheers

Surrey Hills is worth a visit, I don't get out there often enough...

Chobham/Sunningdale/Windsor is also good.

Not sure what's in Croydon though! On another forum I was recommended the Addiscombe Cycle Club - bit far from me and their club run is on Saturday which is when I train, but I would give them a shout!

Down M3 to Bracknell... Go for ape [place..and there are some nice rides and jumps....

I was walking in Surrey around Holmbury Saint Mary, Dorking recently, lot of good off-roading type tracks there and free car parks all over the place. I haven't biked there at all yet, but I will be doing some soon there as I've got an off-road triathlon coming up. Will let you know if I find some good spots.
