Never really done an "Arms workout" before did it today and it was really fun. Not sure why but seeing a pump in your biceps is cool. Not really sure what I did just a huge amount of bicep curls and some tricepy things. Awesome stuff.

Did some pull ups, dips and my ankle exercises.

Still can't put weight on the ankle but can do it lightly with crutches so this is improvement.

Saw the doctor today who gave me a medical certificate so I am not in work for a week. Got bored and did the Excel spreadsheet for 531 program. Currently it is only very basic but I will improve it this week no doubt.

Expected improvements will be one central place to enter your maximums. A place to calculate your maximums and the total load lifted. Not sure what else to add to it if you do want this then let me know of anything you would like in it. Doing it primarily for myself but I couldn't find a decent version of it online and I am really bored.

Attached File  531Template.xls (89.5K)

Basically it currently has a sheet for each month up until December. If you want more just copy one sheet into a new sheet - simple! All you need to do is enter your current estimated maximums into the yellow cells.

Swelling on my ankle has gone down considerably this week. Once it goes back to normal I have been told I can start to try and put weight on it again so hoping that this will be sometime in the coming week.

Bad news.

Saw the doctor again today who signed me off for another two weeks off work and told me I pretty much need to stay in bed and keep it still as much as possible. I have also been referred to a physiotherapist and the doctor has said he thinks it could be up to 6 months before my ankle goes back to normal.

Pretty gutted.

Some good news today have managed to put some weight on the ankle and walk without crutches for short distances. Walking like I have a wooden log but it's progress.
