Have a minor iritation in my knee after my run at the weekend. Think it might be to do with an inbalance in my running (POSE clinic required but not got time or ££'s for that at the mo). It is in the top right corner (outside) of my right knee (edge of the knee cap?).
Left leg is fine apart from some calf soreness which I can handle, no calf soreness on my right leg

Any ideas?
Feels like a bit of tendonitis but wondering if it may indicate some poor form in my run.

sore knees are usually the result of other stuff for me (lunges/ box jumps etc)

were you barefoot/minimally shod. or did you have trainers on? If it's the latter then there's more chance of you losing form and not noticing

Could it be tight IT band? Try to use foam roll for stretching.See if it`s help. I try to get my sport masseur to join the forum. She would be able to give you some advice. I should see her this week. Will ask for you. ;)

Cheers Manny,

How's the knee?
I have a foam roller. Pain, pain, pain, especially IT band.

I ruptured my ACL 12 years ago and opted out of having the op. I haven't had a problem really since giving up rugby but this week seem to have aggravated it. I have been deep squatting and Oly lifting and not had a prob but since yesterday feel a touch of instability.
Must be because my hand is feeling better and I seem to always need something to moan about. I think I need hypnosis rather than a physio.
