So, I've been using lurpack as a wee greaser for the pan for my scrambled eggs every day now for a good while - no real side effects but I think I should be using something better. What do you all use and why?

Just trying to tweak the diet a wee bit see if I can improve a little.

Gareth - where do you get yours from?
IOs it organic as I've heard they can use quite a bit of chemicals in the production process.

Greg - I want the fat but want to try and avoid any veg fat.

I get the MyProtein coconut oil (http://www.myprotein.co.uk/mp-max/foods/coconpure/) certified organic and tastes gooooood.

Lasts me about a month, and that's with eating 15g on a spoon once or twice a day. You don't need that much for frying.
I wonder what the difference is. Might see if they have any in the asian shop in town and will give it a go.

Related topic, Tesco has some creamed coconut in their Polish section for 29p per pack, as compared to 89p for the branded product in the Chinese section.

I'm a big fan of coconut oil(/milk/creamed coconut...etc)

Not a huge fan of the My Protein one in term of taste TBH.

Here's a good primer on the stuff:
