HAHA.

Seriously though, what do you guys thing about a car/minibus share for this?

Most of us that are interested seem to be down south or at least en route...

Granted, it takes a bl**dy age but could make good sense financially? Could be great fun too :D

Hi,

has a date been set for this - has it been cancelled or just shrouded in masonic secrecy?

Cheers,

Lee

I'd love to hit that, the gym looks so cool. Unfortunately I have exams in May, so April is prime revision time.

As it's not yet happened, and my exams are over, consider me up for it. :D

There will be an FK games next year (rather than a CrossFit games per se; that way all CrossFitters and non-CrossFitting functional fitness practitioners can take part). We were trying to organise one for later in the summer of '09 but other behind the scenes issues took precedence. Once we have a format and potential date/location we will update the forum, the site and the twitter feed.

Any news?

I am treading water at the minute after finishing my bodybuilding season early. I love to have something to aim for and a timeframe. 2010 is already in my mind so I need to decide if I am gonna go for the INBF Champs in Barbados (Natural Bodybuilding) next year or the FK Games (or both if my diet doesn't kill me)
If I am off to Barbados, need to start saving or get my sponsors to contribute a little too.

That would be a challenge. Compete in the games and bodybuilding. I know a mate who did a Bodybuilding show on Saturday and a strongman show on Sunday.

Who would host such an event? We got any ranches in the UK to use?

Any ideas what will happen with this? It would be great to get together spring time next year and have either a contest of sorts or even a mass team workout. I used to compete in Puma Dreamteam challenge. Was a great day. We got to finals in David Lloyds in London twice. We could get teams of 6 and have team events as well as 3 individual events. Dreamteam was either bleep test, 2000m row or bench press max. The rest of day was running, swimming, weights, etc.
