Hi everyone. Thought I’d join up and put my head over the parapet.

Basically stumbled on the site whilst looking for some ideas on sessions to do over Christmas. I’ve been messing around for quite a few years but only really started training properly about six months ago. My training is aimed at keeping me fit and strong enough to remain injury free whilst playing rugby union – my real love is rugby league but that’s a bit too hard at my age.

That’s it really. I’m going to post up some stuff in the training logs and goals for 2010 parts of the forum so you can all see what I’m up to and planning to do.

Nice one. Welcome to FK.UK.

Are you planning on following the FK.Daily Workout (FK.DW) or are you doing some other programming? Either way, looking forward to following your training log.

We have a strength and conditioning coach at the club I play for so he sets the programmes for us. You'll get a better idea once I put up the first few log entries. We do a lot of Crossfit type stuff as well as strength workouts. I was also intrigued by the balance stuff in the daily workout the other day as we have been doing some of this type of work too.

Welcome to the fourm!
You are a MAN... take that Zone diet and throw it back at Sears and tell him "f*** you, I'm eating food without counting it". Embrace the 200+ pound range, bro, hug it...
