Just thought it might be nice to have somewhere for people to reflect on this year achievements, sorry if there's another thread I've missed!

I didn't have any firm goals in 2009, so for me the things I'm really pleased about are:

-Finding out about FK/SPQR after having a space where Muay Thai was
-Getting above 100kg deadlift
-Bodyweight squat (75kg)
-Managing a headstand!
-Some ringwork I was better at than I expected to be :D
-Cycling to college regularly and getting out on the bike

It got asked in the 2010 goals thread but actually most people just talked about their goals for this year so it's probably as well to have another, more reflective thread.

My year has been marked by some decent results but also much that I would do differently. Highlights:

Successes
Silver at the BDFPA British Championships
Silver at the WDFPF World Championships
Various powerlifting PBs throughout the year

Great moments
The Dan John seminar in Ireland - meeting one of the best in the business
The FKUK Strength & Power invitational - my first 'strongman' and such a buzz
Learning to snatch properly - have been meaning to do this for a long time
Becoming part of the FK.UK team

Things I would do differently
Not take 2.5 months off lifting!
Not have so many conflicting goals - I now have only two conflicting goals, which is better than most years!
Build my gubernatrix brand - 2009 was fun but I could have done more
Gubernatrix.co.uk - all-round strength training
