think most of us fail on that front mate. I try and give back off sessions to my guys (without them knowing it of course) at CFR every so often. Last week for instance was a lighter week as we were going back to 1 rep max testing this week.
I'm like a goddamn Navy Seal and Olympic gold medalist wrapped in a f***ing suit of body armour. I'm f***ing elite.

all joking aside I got the impression that the reason for backing off the CNS was primarily about muscle growth rather than overall fitness. However I do take a rest day every 4 days which probably stops me burning out quite so often.
