Folks,

I am teaming up with CrossFit London UK to lead a speciality workshop on the deadlift.

You can expect to learn performance enhancing techniques and tips, along with comparisons and guidance on both 'conventional' and 'sumo' style deadlifting.

Come along prepared to lift heavy s*** off the floor!

More details to be announced when the workshop gets put on the CrossFit London UK site and the CrossFit.com mainsite, but wanted to give you guys the heads up first.

The workshop is on Sunday 31st January, from 1200-1500, and is £30.

You can book places through the CrossFit London UK online booking system - here is the link CrossFit London and FK.UK present: The Deadlift [Workshop]

Please post any questions or comments below.

Cheers

Sounds good. You going to include more unusual variations like one-handed deads, deadlift high pulls etc?

I haven't cancelled but have very dodgy knees this week so would be happy to let someone else take my place. No idea how to do that... talk to Chet if you want to take it?

Ahh Nicky that sucks!

Hope you're OK and can still make it.

If you find you do need to cancel, best to sort stuff with Steven of CrossFit London:

I think I am going to cancel - sorry Chet! I'll email Steven.

My knees aren't as bad as they were earlier in the week but they're still not good, so I'd have to stick to light weights, and it's a long way to come if I can't actually take part fully. If I was local I'd come along anyway, but it's a long train trip if I end up just watching or whatever.
