20 Press-ups
20 BW Deadlifts
20 Air squats

To complete this FUBAR the 20 BW DL's stay constant, but the Press-ups/Air-squats go: 20-19-18-17 and so on down to 1 - 20 - 1.
"The idiots are self regarding consumer slaves oblivious to the paradox of their uniform individuality. They sculpt their hair to casual perfection, they wear their waistbands below their balls. They babble into hand-held twit machines about that cool e-mail of the woman being bummed by a wolf. Their cool friend made it. He's an idiot too. Welcome to the age of stupidity, hail the rise of the idiots!"

Charlie Brooker & Chris Morris.

"Don't get hung up on the stopwatch or times, or even weight lifted, think about technique, technique, technique and listening to your body. You will not perform better every session and that is set in stone. Test your self every month keep a written journal not just a forum, a place where you can keep personal notes that you can read to motivate yourself. Don't compare yourself to others when you are working out and likewise do not think that you are already fit as fcuk!!! As someone will always be in front and behind you, ultimate confidence in your abilities yes, but arrogance no, there is a fine line.
But most of all do the things you hate above the things you like or are good at, this will make you a better athlete. Save the things you like for recreational sessions. But ultimately enjoy it, even when you hate it! And finally remember the mind will always give in before the body!"

Here endeth the lesson.

does that work out to about 600 reps of press-ups and squats, and 1200 deadlifts?!

Mark, like this one. Gonna do this one today after the 5KM WOD run. Then will do the FK.UK one tomorrow on my day off.

i think the best FUBAR one i have ever done is 20,19,18...1 of:

3/4 BW dumbell cleans
Ring pushups
BW deadlift.

that was nice......and long.

cheers for the Sept FUBAR

wait, maybe i mis understood this workout

i assumed it means pyramid down from 20 to 1, then back up to 20, then back down again to 1? All the while keeping the deadlift reps constant. So it would be 58 sets of each exercise?

or does it just 20 sets, pyramiding from 20 to 1?

greg, the last statement mark said was 'down to 1-20-1'

this means your last set would be:

1 press up
20 BW deads
1 air squat

not down to 1 and back up to 20 again...now that would kill someone

after the 5km run I decided not to do this one, weak i know, but i was knackered so i did the shorter FK.UK daily one

gonna do this one tomorrow.

Did this 5 minutes after today's CF WOD (cleans a good warm up for deads)

at BW of 145lbs, had 155 on bar for deads (easier just to throw on my 25 kg rubber plates and use oly bar).

Time: 52:27

Back in bits. Plus my inner forearms are red raw from bringing the bar up against thighs. Had to use vaseline in the end (for my foerarms..before all the comments come flooding in  ).

Press ups: all unbroken sets
Deads: first 5/6 rounds unbroken, then managed to get to 16/17 reps on each round before dropping it
Squats: all unbroken sets.

Really suffered from the 5 rep marker and below, seemed like deads followed by deads for last 10 minutes.

Thanks Mark for this one........hope tomorrows CF WOD isn't deadlifts... :D

Ah Crap. Did this one from memory this morning but had a short circuit somewhere. I remembered it as PULL-UPS/BW Deadlift/Squats!!!! I really should get the internet access back on my phone so I can check these things out ;)

59 minutes something (I will get the seconds when I run out to the garage). 77.5 on the bar

Pretty happy to get under the hour TBH. Couple of ripped callouses and a load of new blisters on the hands so a little time was lost taping the blooded bits up again and cutting off skin flaps.

Really concentrated on the tights back for the deadlifts and TBH I feel pretty good - can't say what tomorrow will bring though! Alt hand grip for most of them.

59:28 was the final tally for the workout. Enjoyable workout, and I mean, enjoyable only to idiots like us of course ;)

Just did this but knew I wouldn't be strong enough to perform as rxd so I performed decreasing sets of deadlifts too i.e.

20-20-20
19-19-19
etc down to
1-1-1

Performed @73kg BW with a time of 57 mins dead, am absolutely FUBAR'D! Hats off to those that performed rxd, you guys are machines!

oh dear
this broke me
took me an hour to get down to 10 so had to stop there as ran out of time.

bonked big style after about 7 rounds, probably should have lowered the DL weight (went with 82kg).
