I finnaly have my own gym and wanted to add some kettlebells :D

I found a seller on ebay who is selling kettlebells at a reasonable price, i was wondering are they any good? Will be used mostly for swings and rearly snatches or cleans.

there's a list of reviewed ones on here somewhere, I suspect you might be able to get some discounts too :)

We've been in touch with these people (mystery shopper style) and they don't seem to know much about their product! We noticed on their ebay shop that they are selling what they claim is a "competition" bell but when we asked about the spec, they said:

We are not entirely sure what the difference between European or American specifications would be. Could you elaborate and explain what the difference is we should be looking for?

The weight is set in kgs rather than lbs. We will get in contact with the manufacturers to find out what the weight tolerance is for you, and will let you know as soon as we find out.

It is difficult to measure the height of the kettlebell precisely, but from the closest we can make out it is 27cm tall from the base to the top of the handle, and the space between the top of the kettlebell and the bottom of the handle is 6.25-6.5cm to be as accurate as we can.

If you can clarify what it is you mean by your question and expalin the difference between European and American kettlebells we would greatly appreciated it.

Kind Regards

Sounds like they are not sure what a competition specification is or even of the exact dimensions of their kettlebell.

For the record, Wolversons kettlebells do what they say on the tin and meet European competition standards. Even if you are not interested in kettlebell competitions, it's nice to know that your supplier knows what he's talking about!!

Ive asked them if the kettlebells they have pictured for that listing are the same ones that they are actually selling in that auction. I would be very annoyed to see those pics, which look very similar to the LK kettlebells and then pay for them only to have the Marcy/XLR8 types land on my doorstep.

Yours,
Beev

Newest range from Wolverson :
Very similar to those from intense with the handles already finished and a standard 8cm clearance at the handle.

Anyone had used them yet?

looking for feedback.
