New kid on the block

Thanks for having me on here - it feels like this is what I've been searching for as part of my quest!
I recently met up with Mark from the Box as I'm desperately trying to find people to train with to push me well beyond where I am now and it seems there aren't many people like that around here! (Nottingham).
Me briefly....
Own a training studio in Nottingham
Do increasing amounts of work online through my Intense Conditioning program and various other areas
Recently started a new site for testing and comparing different training methodologies at http://www.worldstoughestworkouts.com . This is where my personal quest to find the tougehst workouts around will unfold over the next year and I'm always looking for like-minded people to get involved to help others.
Had a great chat with Mark and he's got me fired up again - I train hard but also know that I need people like you lot around to push me further.
I want to use this forum to do that and also meet up around the country with people for events, training and just generally to form friendships which will kick my ass into my best mental and physical shape!
Some current 'stats':
10km approx 40 mins
5km approx 18-19 mins
Deadlifts (from 6 inch blocks due to back issues) 170kg
KB press 36 on strong arm 32 on weaker arm
Bench 100kg (always been my weak spot!)
Look forward to getting to know you all, pushing you and being pushed by you!
Train hard!
Jon

If you want to travel, meet people and train, how about coming to FK.UK summer camp? It's the August bank holiday in Cornwall!

See you soon, and get some rest! You will need it
Charlie Brooker & Chris Morris.
"Don't get hung up on the stopwatch or times, or even weight lifted, think about technique, technique, technique and listening to your body. You will not perform better every session and that is set in stone. Test your self every month keep a written journal not just a forum, a place where you can keep personal notes that you can read to motivate yourself. Don't compare yourself to others when you are working out and likewise do not think that you are already fit as fcuk!!! As someone will always be in front and behind you, ultimate confidence in your abilities yes, but arrogance no, there is a fine line.
But most of all do the things you hate above the things you like or are good at, this will make you a better athlete. Save the things you like for recreational sessions. But ultimately enjoy it, even when you hate it! And finally remember the mind will always give in before the body!"
Here endeth the lesson.
