You can order from http://www.davedrape...oduct/BDJN.html
They ship to the UK - it costs $12, although when placing the order you'll have to select the standard postage option on the form. However they do charge the postage at cost or so I have been assured.

Same happened with the Rip DVD's, although in the end we were charged the same once I brought it up with Rip's people.

Laree Draper kindly offered to let me back out of my order but I decided not to as I felt weird taking advantage of their generosity and anyway I don't mind the money going straight to the source, as it were. Amazon gets enough of my cash already!
So looking forward to the book arriving soon!

Just started reading 'From the Ground Up' last night. This together with Rip's Starting Strength have really opened my eyes. I am even doing a staff training workshop at Total Fitness on basic barbell training as these books have made me see so much more errors not just by members but in the teaching by instructors. Easier to give someone 3 x 10 on leg press that spend an hour teaching them to squat. (it reminds me of starting looking in peoples shopping baskets after I did my Sports Nutrition Dip)

spread the word buddy...
"If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready"
"The mind always gives out before the body. You’ll pass out before you die."
"We'll be as we are when all the fools around us fade away"
"Successful men and women are very careful in reaching decisions and very persistent and determined in action thereafter."

So far, very good.
In fact, I'm looking to buy a copy for a friend...but Amazon is out.
Gubes, how much did yours come to in the end from the Drapers?

Aye, saw that - was just looking to clarify - wasn't sure if you meant that the $12 was the 'cost' price you are referring to
So $24.95 + £12 then I assume? Do you remember how long it took?
Cheers

Yes the shipping is 12 dollars. I don't remember how long it took, sorry! Don't have the email trail any more.
