Has anybody heard of or used this type of portable bar. I was looking around for something I could use in the field/Ops. Only $85.

Thought I would ask before I buy.

cheers

if you have a pair of rings, then can't you just run a bar across the straps?

If you can get the bar, then yes you can do that. The only difference between that method and mine is I have some smaller nylon strapping to hold the bar in place which helps suppress some of the rotation of the bar that you see if you have it passed through the straps alone.

Marcus, PM Kempie, he sells the trapeze bars in the UK at reasonable prices (it's where I got mine - so did Chet IIRC). I have one in the garage and it is now my default pull-up system.

thanks guys, I like the look of the trapeze bars, just as long as the straps are adjustable should be OK

Yep, straps are adjustable. In the beginning I made them to measure for folks but the adjustable option provides flexibility. Are you in the Uk or based overseas? Shipping OS might be a PITA costwise for what is in essence a piece of steel pipe. If you're a little handy and can get the necessary components I can walk you through the rigging process no problem.

Cheers, kempie

Hi Kempie, I am based in Belgium, in 2 weeks I am moving to Germany and was looking at making a cellar gym very soon.
I will email you when re-established in Germany once I have seen the cellar and what I can do with it. Cheers
