Courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of it.

My two penneth, (for what it's worth)

A single burpee mile isn't unique but the burpee marathon is.

Would the average person in the street be excited by this event, I asked people in work "how long do you reckon it would take to do a burpee mile?" and I had answers from 5 minutes to 20 minutes, so they really don't understand how hard it is, attach the word marathon tho and right away they'll think it's hard. (but only if it's "London!"), it's a bit late now but a burpee marathon to coincide with FLM would've raised the profile.

I did 200m of burpees and it took me 25 mins so I know it's hard.

There should be at least one team doing the burpee marathon. (two makes for a race!)

Not entirely sure what my point is.

But I think the idea is a good one and I hope you do it and it's a success.

An Army team vs Funckey team. (over whatever discipline(s))

3 man stretcher bearer marathon taking turns to be on the stretcher every 400m?

Hey guys, I'm new here.
But I'd love to be involved. Living in Australia at the moment but will be back in July. I'm planning to do the burpee mile later this month anyways, so if I'm not absolutely horrified I'm in.
Good luck everyone
Cheers

By the way my 400m time was 14 mins, gunning for 90 minutes for the mile.

Hey guys I'm new to this site, but I've been a crossfitter for a while, getting my CF-L1 in December. I did the burpee mile on Wednesday 15th December in 1:34:00 to help raise money for help for heroes.

I'll try and get a video together soon and post it up :) for evidence.

It got emotional.

Anyway if you feel like helping out h4h you can donate at bmycharity.com/v2/burpeemile, every little helps.
