THere ok mate, i got one last year. There good for the AMRAP WOD's (for minute countdown), Tabatas and Fight Gone bad mainly. It saves you looking at your watch all the time plus you can set the rest time as well as work time.
The only problem is that the speaker is not loud enough so in a busy gym / box you can hardly hear it.
The screen is an ok size and it can be seen from about 4 feet away.
I do use mine as the pros outway the cons, plus they are cheap too. Good for our little workout clan to be able to keep a track on the time.

Though they do vibrate and you can clip them to yourself so you can feel it

The only issue I have with it is that there is no stopwatch. The thing has every other timer/countdown function you could need but they couldn't just add in a stopwatch?!? Surely it can't be too hard to add that function in, even if it's just recording whole seconds not tenths.
Well worth the money though. I'd recommend it for anyone looking at intervals, tabatas and the like.

Maybe it's a new model, mine is a year old now (still going strong).
EDIT:
Yup, new model. Looks like the stopwatch was added. Might have to get another one...

The gymboss is great for interval work. My watch has a stop watch function but it can't handle intervals. Also the gymboss has a bigger display than my watch and is easier to prop up so that I can see it.
