The deadlift boots don't seem to have a raised heel which is the point of a weightlifting shoe.
Rightly so as deadlift boots shouldn't have a raised heel!
If it was me, I'd just wear Converse All Stars or similar until I could afford a weightlifting shoe. However there must be some cheaper than £100 - maybe someone else knows...

Pullums sell Do Wins for £65
http://www.pullum-sp...s/prod_534.html
No idea what they're like etc, just that I'm in the market for some weightlifting shoes and came across these.

@ DanM - They are good. I have a pair. As far as I am aware they are the cheapest Oly shoes available in the UK just now.
@ Robbcore - Have merged these threads as virtually all the stuff you asked about has been discussed about. The search function is your friend
Just post up if there is anything else though.
@FKPimp - Ha. Yes - here, Rogue DoWins here

Cheers Chet, luckily I am pretty close to the Pullum warehouse so I may make a trip and try them for size!

Franz had the same thing happen.
You kids...

Mine are of a different construction, more like the Pullum ones.
