Hi All,

This is Simon, just found out about your forum from a random email from one of your members (Chris) earlier and it looks pretty cool.

I don't do Crossfit, though do do the odd WOD once in a while for GPP (I particularly like the Dan John influenced ones like Tabata This), but I am into functional training. Just opened a new strength and conditioning facility in Manchester City Centre where we do Strength Training/O-Lifting/GPP/High Intensity Interval Training/Gymnastics/Parkour etc.

I'm interested in all aspects of training, from conditioning, strength and power development and injury reduction - Anything that will make sport/life/the unexpected easier and more fun!

Shameless plug, but here's our website:

If you're local, come down and say hello :)

Welcome aboard. Saw your site in the past, looks awesome. Don't worry about not doing CrossFit, so long as you do functional fitness types stuff you will fit right in.

Hi Simon,
Website looks great. I've been on the forum for about three months and I can tell you that Chet and the guys have the best functional forum I know of. Will be good chatting and sharing ideas (I'm about to open a facility in a couple of months near Cambridge).

Best wishes with the new venture. Will call in on yourselves and the CF MCC guys when I'm next down. In the meantime, if I can help in anyway please don't hesitate to get in touch via here/email/phone.

Welcome - Sweeeet looking box there Simon.
Seems to be a fair bit of activity up in Manchester - have to get up there soon - will have to find an excuse for work to send me.
