ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
1) Membership on the board signifies that you have read, understood, and consent to this policy.
2) This objectives of this policy include:
· Defining the ethos of the board.
· Maintaining order on the board.
· Facilitating better interaction and communication on the board.
· Facilitating an enjoyable and beneficial experience on the board for all members.
· Protection of the interests of FK.UK members.
· Protection of the interests of the FK.UK brand.
3) FK.UK reserves the right to amend and/or add to this policy at any time and with immediate effect. Amendments will be noted on this thread.
4) We do not believe that swearing is necessary. FK.UK reserves the right to censor such words, and delete whole or partial posts as appropriate in this regard.
5) We reserve the right to move or delete any posts that are considered inappropriate. This is inclusive of, but not limited to:
· Largely off-topic posts.
· Advertisements for products and services outwith the Advertising Policy, here
· Posts that contain offensive images or material, racist, hate group or posts condoning violence, threatening behaviour, or illegal acts.
Actions up to and including permanent ban from the forum may be implemented at the discretion of the moderators.
6) Members of this board should appreciate that FK.UK is a privately owned site, a registered name, and a brand. Members should respect these facts - and should not make statements on behalf of FK.UK or its members as a whole, either directly or indirectly. FK.UK reserves the right to deal with ignorance of the above at its discretion.
7) Please post with due care and attention to reason, content and perspective. Civil and reasoned dissent or disagreement is encouraged. Respectful disagreement as above, with well-reasoned arguments and evidence is indeed encouraged further. However, such discussions must not descend to a personal level.
8) A high level of respect must be shown at all times to other users of the board. Also, the PM system must be treated as an extension of the forum in this regard. FK.UK has little respect for a lack of respect. Any perceived misuse of the board is to be reported to the moderating team in the first instance. We take harassment of board members very seriously. Personal insults, petty bickering and/or a failure to adhere to the above can and will lead to suspensions, revoke of posting privileges and/or further action as deemed necessary by the moderators.
9) Please post with due care and attention to punctuation, grammar and spelling. “Text talk” is discouraged. This will help discussions to flow well and make threads easier to read and follow. In this respect, please do not continually copy whole posts when replying to them – use the quote feature to narrow the post down to the part(s) specific to your reply. Contact the moderating team if you need help in doing this.
10) Please keep threads on topic. This helps keep discussions and information easier to follow and reference for all. If your post is unrelated to the intended topic, start a new topic in the relevant forum. Please note there is a 'banter' forum, for ALL 'off-topic' chat. Continued ignorance of the above is a waste of moderator time and is not acceptable.
11) Promoting or advertising of products or services (outwith that of functional fitness coaching) is only allowed within the 'Classifieds' forum. Any and all discussion regarding such items must be kept to this thread. However, a single, discretely placed website reference is generally considered acceptable within other forums appropriate to the product or service, for example 'Equipment' or 'Nutrition'.

12) Please credit the source of any articles, online or otherwise, that you reference. Also please be aware of, and follow copyright rules and regulations when it comes to such postings.
13)The moderating team are here to help FK.UK members, and in this respect uphold the objectives in point one. However, the moderating team are on the board and in the role of moderator on their own free will and free time. Any member who occupies a large amount of admin/moderator time will be subject to action at the discretion of the moderators, up to and including being asked to leave the board.
14) If this policy, or the board is not to your liking or satisfaction, it is best for all that you move on rather than dissent from or complain about either.
